I am going to introduce the paper on Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) and host galaxy evolution. Hickox+2009 http://ads.nao.ac.jp/abs/2009ApJ...696..891H The paper studied the host galaxy, Eddington ratio and clustering of radio, X-ray, and infrared selected AGNs. The paper introduced a simple picture of AGN and galaxy evolution on the basis of the previous studies, and then confirmed that the picture is consistent with observation.

In the next seminar, I would like to talk about the timing properties of black hole X-ray binaries, with a particular focus on low-frequency quasi-periodic oscillations.

In the next seminar, I will introduce the tidal disruption events (TDE) and its recent studies includeding the results obtained by ROSAT, Swift, and my work with Monitor of All-sky X-ray Image (MAXI).
Tidal disruption event occurs when a star passes close enough to super massive black hole (SMBH) to be torn. TDE study is very interesting because it will give information about the stellar population in cusp around the SMBH, the dormant SMBH parameters, and the connection between disk, jet, and spin. And also, recent detections of two TDE accompanied with relativistic jet excite the people studying TDE.

I will talk about jet hot spots of active galactic nuclei in the next Wednesday seminar.
In this seminar, I will introduce studies of AGN hot spots, especially focused on the optical polarimetric studies. After that, I will talk my recent study of multi-wavelength polarizations of western hot spot of Pictor A which is one of the most famous FRII radio galaxies.

Using the 0.8-8 keV spec data of CDF-S + AEGIS + C-COSMOS obtained by Chandra, they reported that 100 Compton-thick AGN candidates are found in high-z (z<3) universe.

I will review the recent studies on the multi mode/wavelength observations for SN 2014J in M82. SN 2014J is the closest Type Ia SN among this 20 years. Thus, several early studies of constraint on the progenitor systems for this object already appeared. I will introduce follow papers,
