Oral Presentations

The following is a guideline for talk and discussion time:

  • Invited Talk (45min): 40min (talk) + 5min (discussion)
  • Contributed Talk (20min): 15min (talk) + 5min (discussion)
But as far as the speakers do not mind, we would like an informal style to let the audience to ask questions during the talks (especially for invited talks).

Please bring your laptop for your presentation.

Poster Presentations

The size of a poster board is 180cm (height) x 90cm (width).
We will organize a short oral presentation time (1~2min for each) for poster presenters at the poster presentation sessions (17:30-18:30) on May 8. If you would like to advertise your poster, please prepare a short talk. Please use your laptop for the talk.

Internet Access

We are afraid that free internet connection service is not available at Science Seminar House. In case you need to access the internet, please consult the LOC.

Banquet on May 10 (Thu)

The banquet will star around 7:00pm at a restaurant 'Ganko'. You can enter the room of the restaurant from 6:30pm and enjoy the garden before the banquet. Here is some information for the banquet (PDF file) (which will be available in your conference bag).

Lunch and Dinner

There are cafeterias and shops (for foods and drinks) in the university campus, as well as many restaurants and convenience stores near the university. For participants from abroad, we recommend you to go lunch and dinner together with Japanese participants since there are not so many restaurants with English menu around the university. LOC will also take you to lunch and dinner during the workshop.
