Registration Fee
Graduate students can register at a student discount. The registration fee covers the opening reception, conference materials, coffee breaks, and the conference banquet. Meals (except reception and banquet) are not covered by the registration fee. The registration fee should be paid at the on-line credit card payment page provided by JTB, which does not accept a free email address (such as hotmail and yahoo). Please note that the registration fee will not be refunded for cancellation after April 24. Abstract SubmissionIn addition to 19 invited talks, we are planning for 36 contributed talks and up to 140 posters (which will be posted throughout the conference). Contributed talks have been selected by the SOC [Talk List]. Unselected proposals are to be turned over to poster presentations [Poster List]. The abstract submission was closed on March 16, 2009. The category you selected when you submitted the abstract may have been changed into other category by the SOC. Hotel BookingAlthough JTB provides a recommended hotel list, it is OK to find a hotel by yourself if you want. We recommend making reservation as early as possible because it is the tourist season in May in Kyoto. Please note that the LOC will be unable to book a room for you. The followings are the web sites of the hotels which JTB recommends:
A map of the hotels in Kyoto City is available here. The following hotels are also reasonable in price and located near the downtown.
