Aims of the Workshop
The Construction of FMOS(Fibre-Multi Object Spectrograph, a Subaru
2nd generation common use instrument), is ongoing and its first light
is currently scheduled to be mid-late 2005. With this schedule in
mind, we will have a science workshop with FMOS.
The aims of the workshop are:
0) Overview of the instrument (5%)
1) Discussion of science targets and outlines for FMOS
science projects (70%)
2) Discussion of observing techniques (10%)
3) Discussing data reduction software (15%)
