Takashi Nagao

My name is Takashi Nagao.
I'm a PhD student at Depertment of Astronomy, Kyoto University.
I'm working on supernovae with circumstellar dust, using radiative transfer calculation.
My hobbies are travelling, crimbing mountains, walking, and visiting temples and shrines.

RESEARCH

I theoretically study some topics on supernovae using a Monte Carlo radiative transfer simulation code.
There are two subjects that I'm tackling these days.

We calculate polarized light from Type Ia SNe with circumstellar dust.

Mid-infrared echo from Type IIn supernovae

We calculate mid-infrared thermal echo and optical polarized-scattered echo from Type IIn SNe.
