主鏡サポート/温度制御に関する調査

• WIYN 3.5m

  • 主鏡(3.5m,F/1.75)保持
    66 axial(油圧+補正用油圧+motor) + 24 lateral(elevation 方向、油圧のみ)
    axial 油圧は３zone に分けて control (cylinder は４種)
    全てに load cell がついている
    有限要素法 SAP IV で計算した値で補正
    補正用油圧シリンダは角度調整可能で、lateral 油圧と直結(合力が横方向の力となる)
    motor で spring を押し、±1kN の調整(各 zone 内での力の和は０)
    mirror 位置は４点で LVDT にて測定、油圧 control に feed back
    
  • 温度制御
    鏡材 Borosilicate glass 外気温±0.2℃ (Time scale 60min で ±0.02℃)
    354個の nozzle より 5.7l/sec (圧力差 76Pa) で cell 内を換気 (pressure gradient 5Pa)
    fan 1.2kW の内、0.9kW は熱になり 0.43℃ の温度上昇
    motor の振動はゴムで除振
    水 + glycerol 1:1 溶液で排熱
    PID control, feedback 5min 最大で外気温±3℃
    温度センサー 1024個(各 cell と主鏡の外周/内周)

  • 主鏡(6.5m,F/1.25)保持
    104 axial + 54 lateral 空圧アクチュエータ(主鏡位置決め点で axiax＜2N, lateral＜10N)
    6点の主鏡位置決め点から hexapod-like にアクチュエーターを組んで位置決め(stroke ±12mm, 精度1μm, 50Hz feedback)
    
  • 温度制御
    150個の jet ejector でハニカム中の空気を排気(直径方向の pressure gradient＜40Pa) 外気温との温度差±0.2℃(time scale 45min)
    温度計は精度 0.01℃のものを独自に開発(高いらしい)
    
  • その他
    主鏡セルは、真空 chamber も兼ねている。
