CCD observations at Ouda Station, Kyoto University (observer D. Nogami) indicate the EX Lup-type pre-main sequence star V1118 Ori is undergoing an apparent outburst as indicated by the following observations.

Mar. 1.497 15.19V
Multicolor photometry and spectroscopy are highly encouraged.
