UV Gem: Superoutburst in April

A superoutburst was detected by M. Simonsen on April 7 at 14.7mag. During the 2001 February outburst, humps and the outburst showed unusual development (vsnet-campaign-dn 2274). T. Vanmunster detected superhumps whose period was calculated to be 0.0926 +/- 0.0010 d. This is slightly longer than that he reported during 1999 December outburst (vsnet-campaign-dn 2286, 2301).
