TU Men
R. Stubbings detected an outburst (12.2mag) of the long-period SU UMa-type
dwarf nova TU Men on June 24. Although the magnitude suggests a normal
outburst, the object had not been seen in outburst for nearly a year (vsnet-campaign-dn
2610).
An outburst to 12.6mag was reported on December 17 by R. Stubbings (vsnet-campaign-dn
3144). The object was reported to further brightened to 12.0-11.9mag,
which indicated that the outburst was a superoutburst (vsnet-campaign-dn
3148). In the light curve obtained by P. Nelson, the object showed ~0.04
mag variation, which may be either a general fading trend or a part of superhump
variation (vsnet-campaign-dn
3154). His next run showed no rapid fading, suggesting that the outburst
is a long outburst (vsnet-campaign-dn
3162). In the light curve taken by T. Richards on December 21, superhumps
were not yet prominent, while the duration of the outburst indicated a superoutburst
(vsnet-campaign-dn
3180). The outburst continues until December 25, when a rapid fading
to 13.0mag was reported by R. Stubbings (vsnet-campaign-dn
3156, 3170,
3189,
3193).
