V844 Her : Rare superoutburst in September
As reported by C. P. Jones on August 31, the SU UMa-type dwarf
nova V844 Her experienced a relatively rare outburst.
The last outburst occurred in 2000 July. The most unusual characters of
this dwarf nova is the apparent absence of normal outburst, while
the intervals of superoutbursts are not especially long
(vsnet-campaign 1148).
The superoutburst continued until September 15 when the object
rapidly faded. No rebrightening was reported
(vsnet-campaign-dn 1620).
