V803 Cen : Strong oscillations

Observations on January 3 indicated V803 Cen was active with oscillations (vsnet-campaign-dn 384). On January 4, A. Pearce reported a bright (12.8mag) outburst (vsnet-campaign-dn 387). The outburst lasted at least for one week (vsnet-campaign-dn 392). The observations on January 15 reported by R. Stubbings and A. Pearce show possible presence of short-term variation between <13.9 and 13.5 (vsnet-campaign-dn 398). As reported by A. Pearce, P. Williams, and R. Stubbings, a faint outburst was reported on January 19 -- 20 and it remained bright on January 21 (vsnet-campaign-dn 411). The fading from the outburst was observed on January 22 by B. Monard (vsnet-campaign-dn 413), and then, the object seems to recover to the relatively bright state (vsnet-campaign-dn 422), and then, marked short-term variation on January 28 (vsnet-campaign-dn 434). A minor outburst (13.2mag) was reported on February 1.042 by B. Monard (vsnet-campaign-dn 442). S. Walker noticed that it is the ~23 hour normal outburst cycle which occurs daily (vsnet-campaign-dn 443). A. Pearce reported fading from the outburst on February 1.8 (vsnet-campaign-dn 444). R. Stubbings' observation on February 2.685 showed another normal outburst (vsnet-campaign-dn 455).

On February, the object was reported two faint outbursts with short recurrence cycle on February 7 and 13. The duration of the latter one was relatively long for about one week (vsnet-campaign-dn 460, 503, 510). The object became fainter to 14.0-14.4mag on March 6 (vsnet-campaign-dn 579), and then, again bright (13.6mag) on March 11 (vsnet-campaign-dn 580). The activity was calm during March 26 and 27 (vsnet-campaign-dn 612), and then modulated between 13.9-14.3mag during March 27-29 (vsnet-campaign-dn 615). The object showed fluctuation between 13.7-14.5 (vsnet-campaign-dn 667, 679), and then, experienced a bright (12.7mag) outburst on April 20 as reported by A. Pearce (vsnet-campaign-dn 681). On April 21, the outburst was terminated as reported by B. Monard (vsnet-campaign-dn 688).

The strong oscillations were still observed through May (vsnet-campaign-dn 807). In the end of May, it faded from this "standstill" at around 13mag (vsnet-campaign 949). P. Williams reported an outburst of V803 Cen at 13.6mag on June 17 (vsnet-campaign-dn 914). After this outburst, the strong activity around 14mag was seen (vsnet-campaign-dn 1125). An outburst was reported on August 12 by B. Monard at 13.7mag (vsnet-campaign-dn 1221). Another outburst was reported on August 17 by S. Kerr at 13.0mag (vsnet-campaign-dn 1300).

The oscillations again appeared in early-September (vsnet-campaign-dn 1510).
