8 R. Stubbings reported that the dwarf nova V344 Pav is undergoing a rare outburst (14.6mag on July 2). The last reported outburst occurred in 1999 September - October, whose fading trend closely resembled that of a superoutburst of an SU UMa-type dwarf nova. The large outburst amplitude (more than 6 mag) also supports this possibility. Time-series photometry during the present outburst is strongly recommended (vsnet-alert 5055, vsnet-campaign 281). 9 The outburst of this possible SU UMa-type dwarf nova is ongoing. A. Pearce reported the last negative observation before the outburst of <15.2mag on June 29.843 (vsnet-campaign 289). The superoutburst was interrupted by a rapid fading since July 8 (vsnet-campaign 339). 26 V344 Pav (RA = 19h16m10.21s, Dec = -62d35'54".4) The dwarf nova V344 Pav is in outburst. R. Stubbings reported the magnitude of 14.4 on November 3. The last outburst was reported in 2000 July. Since little is known about this object, we encourage time-resolved photometry (vsnet-campaign 548).
