PKS 2005-489: Long bright state since September
Since June the blazar PKS 2005-489 had entered a bright state
(vsnet-campaign-blazer 7).
B. Monard updated the comparison sequence in view of the actual
Tycho 2 value of the brighter star, and also mentioned that a similar
brightening to the current one was observed three (or four?) years
ago
(vsnet-campaign-blazer 8).
The blazar PKS 2005-489 was reported to be fading from the bright state
on July 4(12.3mag on June 29 - 12.8mag)
(vsnet-campaign-blazer 18), and then, became bright again (12.4mag) on July 11
(vsnet-campaign-blazar 25). After fading, B. Monard reported the other temporal brightening on
the end of August
(vsnet-campaign 55).
It is again brightening in September and the state lasted more longer
