FX Cep: No short-term modulations during outbursts
T. Vanmunster performed a CCD photometry of FX Cep which is
undergoing an outburst, on Jun 17/18. During 3.7 hours run, the
object, at 15.5mag, did not show any periodic signals
(vsnet-campaign 227).
T. Kinnunen detected the outburst at 15.0mag on August 23
(vsnet-outburst 415).
T. Vanmunster performed a time-series CCD
photometry on August 23/24 and reported the light curve is rather flat.
He suggested that this variable is an UGSS-type dwarf nova
(vsnet-campaign 445).
