Possible Nova Mus 1998
According to IAUC No. 7078, W. Liller (Vina del Mar, Chile) reports the discovery of a possible nova on Technical Pan photographs.

The reported possible Nova Mus hass been confirmed spectroscopically to be a genuine nova (IAUC 7079). The astrometry by W. Liller:
11h 56m 08s.9 (J2000.0) -65o 34' 20".6The closest USNO star (slightly outside the error circle given by Liller)

Hi all,
I note that Bill Liller's latest discovery lies not far from GSPC sequence S094. I have converted the coordinates to J2000, and added a couple of Hipparcos stars. These mags would appear to be the most reliable. The list follows.
