Dear friends,
I would like to draw attention of variable star observers (especially those equipped with a CCD camera) to a new red variable star discovered in the Dumbbell nebula (though not physically associated with the planetary) and ask them for observations. Apparent on many published photographs and CCD frames of the famous deep-sky object, it needs a good long-term photometry to be oficially accepted and named.
