ALEXIS has detected a potential transient in Telescope 3B (186 Angstroms, 66eV) at:
RA= (23 38 17.88) DEC=(23 41.24) (Epoch 2000) Error circle radius = 0.4 degrees (~90% confidence)
There was no evidence of the object in the co-aligned telescope 3A (72 eV). The source appeared to turn on about 16 UT 7 Nov and was either slowly decaying or at a slightly dimmer state at 8 UT 9 Nov at which time the satellite began to manuver off of the source and the exposure time on source was halved. A search of the SIMBAD database reveals 23 sources within the error box including the ROSAT source RX J23367+2355.
Follow up observations are encouraged
