| * Unregistered books, dictionaries, reference materials and new journals are not able to be borrowed. | |
| ４）Returning a Book | |
| Return books on the wagon near the entrance. | |
| ５) Reserving a Book | |
| If the book you would like to borrow is out on loan, make the reservation for the book at the circulation desk.. | |
| ６) Renewing a Book | |
| Renewals may be made at the circulation desk, by e-mail or by telephone. | |
| The book may be renewed as long as no-one else has reserved it. | |
| ７) Inter-Library Loan | |
| If you would like to borrow a book which is not owned by the Astronomical Library, you can borrow it from another libraries in Kyoto University. Also using "Inter-Library Loan" system, you can borrow it from another libraries outside Kyoto University. Please ask the librarian. | |
| ８）Photocopying | |
| You can make photocopies with your xerox card. | |
| If you would like to photocopying of a periodical article or a part of a book which is not available at the Astronomical Library, you can get it from another libraries in Kyoto University through "Inter-Library Loan for Photocopies". | |
