Title: Probing neutrino masses with WFMOS using nonlinear galaxy power spectrum in redshift-space Authors: Shun Saito, Masahiro Takada, Atsushi Taruya Abstract: The wide and deep galaxy surveys such as WFMOS will provide us great opportunities to probe the neutrino masses as long as dark energy parameters. This is due to the fact that massive neutrinos suppress the matter power spectrum at the scales larger than neutrino free-streaming scale which roughly corresponds to baryon acoustic scillations (BAOs). In this talk we address nonlinear effects on galaxy power spectrum, i.e. nonlinearity of gravitational evolution, galaxy biasing and redshift distortions. Modeling the nonlinear galaxy power spectrum with massive neutrinos, we present expected constraints on neutrino masses with WFMOS. Moreover, we argue the degeneracies among neutrino masses and other cosmological parameters such as dark energy parameter.
